Personality assessments help you understand yourself and others better. Being aware of others' personality styles helps you know how to interact with them effectively and may save you some frustration! There are plenty of popular personality assessments but the one we're highlighting for this assignment is the DISC assessment. The DISC acronym stands for: Dominance (D), Influence (I), Steadiness (S), and Conscientiousness (C). (Note: Our textbook uses RIDE: Rational (R), Inquisitive (I), Decisive D), Expressive (E); which correlate closely with the DISC personality styles.) To learn more about your individual personality style, please take two quick assessments: 1.) TEXTBOOK: pages 213-216 2.) I participated in the two personality assessments and found that I am more dominant in my personality because of my level of straightforwardness and courage. I have leadership qualities because of not fearing new challenges given to me. I do not fear any kind of change-management if required to be undertaken and adhered to. However, I tend to show vulnerability when I get influenced by other colleagues and supervisors/managers in my workplace.
